Virgin Radio has announced a brand new breakfast show.

The pair's broadcasting partnership began over ten years ago, most recently hosting Breakfast with Sam and Amy on Gem 106, where they have won record audiences and regular industry awards, including Gold Radio Academy Awards for Breakfast Show of the Year and Music Radio Personality of the Year.
As well as the Breakfast show, Sam has also hosted TV shows for Men & Motors and ITV. He is also a keen sportsman. He plays rugby & squash to club levels and is a keen crossfit participant and has competed internationally as part of as 6 man Tribal Games team.
Alongside radio, Amy can regularly be seen on Music TV channels ‘Now TV’ and ‘Chilled TV’, counting down the charts as well as interviewing numerous artists. Amy is also a passionate fan of travel, has written for Reveal Magazine and hosted a wide range events including a race day with Formula One, the Clothes Show Live and the first ever Red Bull Rapids.
Sam and Amy replace Edith Bowman, who hosted the Virgin Radio Breakfast Show for the last 18 months after the station's relaunch.
Sam Pinkham said: "Once you've worked out who's Sam and who's Amy we hope you enjoy the show that we're thrilled to be hosting. Amy's the rude one in the corner. She's sarcastic and has never been nice enough to be called Sam."
Amy Voce said: "After working together for ten years, Sam and I have been itching to put our show on a national scale and Virgin Radio is the perfect home. The music & guests lined up are so exciting and as soon as Sam's learned who half of them are, it's gonna be a great show."
Francis Currie, Wireless Group Content Director for Music Radio said: "Virgin Breakfast with Sam and Amy is going to rock!' You'd better set your alarm clocks for more music in the morning. Stand by to be impressed ... if they remember to set their own alarm!"
