We are Wireless, a leading UK and Irish media company, owned by News UK and Ireland LimitedWireless operates 32 national and local radio stations across the UK and Ireland.

 

These include talkSPORT, the world’s biggest sports radio station and global audio partner of the Premier League, alongside popular national digital stations talkSPORT 2talkRADIO and Virgin Radio. Job Role: Commercial Sales Executive

Location: Stoke on Trent

 

The role of a Sales Executive at market leading radio brands Signal 1, Signal 2, Total Access and Signal 80s is to work passionately with local businesses, helping them to connect with their target market through creative multi-platform advertising campaigns.

 

You will proactively manage your own client list whilst being supported by our Creative Solutions Team. They will provide you with the strongest possible digital, creative and branded content in your marketplace.

 

Day to day you will:

 

  • Identify and develop new prospects.
  • Generating new business appointments.
  • Establish clients’ needs.
  • Work with our Creative Solutions Team to generate ideas that fulfil client needs from a wide portfolio of products including, commercial production, airtime planning, sponsorships, events and digital.
  • Present opportunities and close business.
  • Manage clients through the whole process and on to future opportunities.
